Winter 2008: AUC Students Publish Anatomy Paper

At a recent American Association of Clinical Anatomists (AACA) meeting this winter, AUC students Alvin Freeman and Nathan Jacobson, along with former AUC professor Dr. Quentin Fogg, were met with great acclaim after the presentation of a paper that all three have co-authored for the journal Clinical Anatomy, volume 21.

Entitled, “Anatomical Variations of the Plantaris Muscle and a Potential Role in Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome,” this work was borne of each co-authors’ knowledge and enthusiasm of the subject matter.

"They are definitely to be congratulated, and I'm extremely glad that I was able to guide them through this process," remarked Dr. Fogg. These two productive students currently also have two other papers in review and are being mentored once again by Dr.Fogg as they work to complete another three papers.
