The first two academic years of Basic Medical Sciences) are taught on St. Maarten at the state-of-the-art campus. Completed in 1998, the multi-million dollar facility provides a perfect setting for teaching and learning. The campus boasts a dramatic three-story atrium, courtyard, and beautiful landscaping. All buildings are air-conditioned while external structures exhibit refreshing breezeways and shaded paths. Comprehensive study is promoted by offering students contemporary lecture halls enhanced with audio/visual technology, fully equipped biological science and anatomical dissection laboratories, clinical patient examination rooms, an extensive library with an up-to-date student computer center, and more. A cafeteria is available as well as numerous common areas designed for student study and relaxation.
