Tom Landau, M.D.

Dr. Landau was born in New York City and has lived in the area all his life. After graduating from Tufts College and Tufts Medical School, he went into the Public Health Service where he interned and then spent two years at the National Institutes of Health where he was involved with the Framingham Heart Study and the Coronary Drug Project. Residencies followed in internal medicine and cardiology at Montefiore Hospital in New York City. He practiced internal medicine and cardiology in his home town of Mamaroneck, NY for 35 years.

Dr. Landau is now “un- retired” and teaching April-January at Sound Shore Medical Center, a major affiliate of NY Medical College. He currently holds academic appointments at NY Medical College and Weill Cornell School of Medicine.

He married Judith, an OTR social worker and clinical psychologist and has two daughters Melissa, an attorney, and Lori, a pediatric urologist.
