Iain McIntosh , Ph.D.

Professor of Genetics

Dr. McIntosh earned his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Edinburgh in 1984 and 1988 respectively. After post-doctoral fellowships in human genetics in Edinburgh and at Johns Hopkins, he joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins in 1993 as associate professor in the McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine. His research has focused on understanding the molecular basis of genetic syndromes, particularly Nail Patella Syndrome and other skeletal dysplasias.

Iain McIntosh has been a professor at AUC since January 2006.
