Coral Gables Admissions Staff

Tiffany Ciolek, Director of Admissions

tiffany-web-315x315-(1).jpg

I joined AUC in 2012 after serving as the associate director of admissions at Ross University School of Medicine. I earned my BA in Public Communication from State University College at Buffalo, and am currently pursuing my EMBA at the University of Buffalo. Here at AUC, I am responsible for a range of tasks from the day-to-day management of the operational and field recruitment functions of the Office of Admissions, to the development and implementation of admissions policy. The best part of my job is helping students along the journey of discovering all they want to be, and helping them connect that to all they can become. In my personal time, I enjoy traveling when my schedule allows – I have been to nearly all 50 states in the US and completed a personal  “bucket list” item when I visited the pyramids in Egypt.

Gustavo Galue, Senior Associate Director of Admissions

I am a native of Venezuela and a graduate of Niagara College in Ontario, Canada. I received my degree in International Business, and am currently enrolled in the MBA program with Keller School of Management.  I have been in the education field since 2006, and have enjoyed working with students from all corners of North America and the world. As a member of the AUC family since 2010, I assist prospective medical students as they strive to achieve their professional and educational goals – a job that is truly rewarding.

Irashe Romero, Assistant Director of Admissions

ira-web-315x315.jpgI have been working with AUC since 2005, first as an admissions advisor, and in 2012 was promoted to assistant director. I also work with the Medical Education Readiness Program (MERP) students, and with the Housing Department to assign incoming students to AUC’s University Apartments. I really take pride in the personalized attention that AUC provides their students.
In my spare time, I enjoy planning fun activities for my Girl Scout Troop, and taking my family to Disney World.

Roxana Ruiz, Assistant Director of Admissions

I was born and raised in Miami, FL, with a Cuban household background.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Student Education from Miami Dade College, and am currently working on obtaining my MBA.  I joined AUC in 2000 as a student worker, mainly in admissions, and have stayed in that department to this day as assistant director of admissions.  I love helping students and seeing how they become amazing physicians. Outside of AUC, I spend most of my time with what’s most important to me, which is my family.
