The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine is approved by the California State Medical Board, the New York State Board for Medicine, the Florida State Commission for Independent Education, the Texas Medical Board and fully accredited by The Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine (ACCM). The National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation (NCFMEA) of the U.S. Department of Education recognizes the ACCM as an accreditation body having standards comparable to LCME. Hence, AUC is eligible to participate in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP).
