Core Rotation Sites

As an AUC student, you will have the option of undertaking core clerkships in the United States and England. In order to facilitate your evaluation of clinical opportunities, a profile of each affiliated hospital site is provided in this section of the web site.

All hospitals in England offer full core rotations. Currently, AUC students rotating in the U.S. are able to complete all core rotations within one geographic area. The Web links below set out the core rotations that are offered, and usually describe electives that are available as well.

Fifth semester students will be interviewed by AUC’s core coordinator to determine clerkship site preferences and to confirm the student’s progress toward passing the USMLE Step 1. AUC requires all students to pass the USMLE Step 1 prior to commencing clinical rotations. This policy is detailed in the Student Handbook.
