Aultman Hospital

Aultman Hospital has been recognized by HCIA as one of the 100 Top Hospitals in the nation and among the 100 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals nationally. The hospital's major programs include Cancer, Trauma, Heart, Perinatal, Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Services. The facilities, services, technology and caliber of physicians at Aultman rival the nation's top metropolitan hospitals.

Traditional residency programs include Family Practice, Obstetrics, and Gynecology. Residency programs in Diagnostic Radiology and Internal Medicine are offered in collaboration with Mercy Medical Center. The medical staff consists of over 650 physicians with approximately 93 percent of these physicians being board-certified. Over 150 of these physicians assist in the educational process for residents and medical students.

Aultman Hospital is one of the major teaching affiliates of the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. This allows for an educational environment that combines a quality community hospital with academic strengths stemming from its NEOUCOM association. Aultman also provides clerkships to medical professionals and offers electives to medical students.
