Randy McCreery and Brittany Mott were chosen by their class of graduating physicians as representatives and student speakers for American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine's 2015 Commencement Ceremonies. This year’s ceremonies will be held on May 23rd at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort in Sint Maarten.
Randy McCreery (Class of ’14)
Before coming to AUC, Dr. McCreery worked as an engineer in the biotechnology industry. This July Mr. McCreery will begin his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and hopes to eventually pursue a fellowship in either Infectious Diseases or Gastroenterology.
He will be speaking at the morning ceremony which begins at 9:30 a.m.
Brittany Mott, M.D (Class of ’15)
Brittany Mott graduated from Binghamton University in 2010 with a degree in Neuroscience, where she enjoyed wearing polo shirts while rowing crew and performing standup comedy at campus events.
Ms. Mott joined AUC in September 2011, where she became President of Bisexuals, Gays, Lesbians, and Allies in Medicine (BGLAM), and the Vice President of Community Service for the Student Volunteer Committee.
Ms. Mott is excited to start her psychiatry residency at The University of Rochester in New York this summer, and wishes all 2015 graduates the best in their future careers and endeavors.
She will be speaking at the afternoon ceremony which begins at 2:30 p.m.
