American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC) announced that Tiffany Ciolek has been promoted to Admissions Director. Ms. Ciolek joined AUC in 2012 as a Senior Associate Director of Admissions and has also served as interim Director of Admissions.
In her new role, Ms. Ciolek’s responsibilities range from day-to-day management of the operational functions of the Office of Admissions, to the development and implementation of admissions policy. She creates and leads the implementation of initiatives to support AUC’s admissions efforts. This includes development of strong regional admissions teams, oversight of PreMed advisor visits and integration of new technologies.
“Since joining AUC, Tiffany has played an integral role in all aspects of our enrollment efforts. Most importantly, she understands how our medical program provides an opportunity for qualified and dedicated individuals to prepare for successful careers in medicine,” said Dean Chumley, M.D., executive dean and chief academic officer. “This allows her to lead the admissions team as they connect AUC with aspiring physicians who value the unique learning environment we have created.”
Prior to joining AUC, Ms. Ciolek served as Associate Director of Admissions at Ross University School of Medicine. She earned her B.A. in Publication Communications from State University College at Buffalo and is currently pursuing her EMBA at the University of Buffalo.
