AUC Students
Students at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine receive outstanding basic medical science training from dedicated faculty members, placement into clinical rotations in the U.S., England or Ireland, and upon graduation, join a global alumni network.
The quality of education provided at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine is clearly reflected by the impressive accomplishments of our more than 4,000 alumni around the world.
The basic medical sciences curriculum at AUC is designed to engender competent physicians and to ensure that they pass their boards. Between study groups, a narrow student-teacher ratio, additional board preparation courses, and comprehensive examinations throughout their medical sciences course work, students gain confidence from knowing they’ve mastered the material and have familiarized themselves with the USMLE Step 1 examination format.
AUC students are extremely competitive with their U.S. medical school counterparts for choice residencies by virtue of their clinical experiences and connections made within the medical community. AUC transforms students into leaders who make significant contributions to the practice, science, and future of medicine.
