Campus Visit

AUC is interested in maintaining close bonds with pre-medical advisors who work directly with our prospective students. We want advisors to be confident that the information they provide about AUC is accurate, thorough and current. The campus visit program was created with this purpose in mind. As part of our informative program, campus visits allow pre-medical advisors a chance to meet with our faculty, administrators and students. Advisors will also have an opportunity to visit classes and tour the campus facilities, including the residence hall, classrooms, library, computer labs, fitness center, etc.

Program Information

Premedical advisors will arrive in St. Maarten on a Wednesday, and all campus tours and meetings will take place on Thursday and Friday. Saturday will be free for tours of the island and special interests individuals may have, and advisors will depart on Sunday.

In order to accommodate you in the best way possible, groups will be limited to ten people and welcome no less than two advisors during each campus visit. This will allow for a more meaningful experience for both the visitors and hosts.

Date assignments will be based on a first-come-first-serve basis. Our goal is to accommodate your choices to the best of our abilities.

Your campus visit will include reimbursement for a round trip, coach fare up to $900 for travel East of the Mississippi and up to $1200 for travel originating West of the Mississippi to St. Maarten (airport code SXM). AUC will coordinate and pay hotel accommodations at the Sonesta Maho Resort Wednesday through Saturday nights and a stipend will be provided to supplement meals not provided by AUC. Please retain receipts for any ground transportation reimbursement. For those wishing to extend their stays, the AUC group rate will be available three days before and after the visit, based on availability.
