Baton Rouge General Hospital is a 500 bed facility with two campuses and a comprehensive array of services including: Behavioral/Mental Health, Birth Center, Burn Treatment (Adult & Pediatric),Cancer/Oncology, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU), Laboratory Services, Medical Acute Care, Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Outpatient Services, Skilled Nursing, Respiratory, Rehabilitation/Physical Therapy, Sleep Center, Surgical Services, including Same Day Surgery, Women's Services, and Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine.

Core rotations available for AUC students include Internal Medicine (12 weeks), Surgery (12 Weeks), and Family Practice (6 Weeks). Pediatrics (6 weeks) and OB/GYN (6 weeks) can also be completed under the Family Medicine Program.  

Elective rotations include Sub-specialties in Core Areas (4 weeks), Sports Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Anesthesia.
