AUC Launches New Student Experience Ambassador Program

Through this program, a small group of medical sciences students will be selected to share their story and experiences with our growing network.

Before setting foot at AUC, you probably wondered what life would be like at a medical school in the Caribbean. What kinds of students would you meet and how would your life change once you arrived to campus?

To better showcase student life at AUC, we are launching a Student Experience Ambassador (SEA) Program. Through this program, a small group of medical sciences students will be selected to share their story and experiences with our growing network.

We are currently looking for ten creative students to serve as SEA Ambassadors. Ambassadors will organize campus wide events, write and curate content for our website, newsletters and social media channels, produce and direct compelling videos, and even create digital campaigns that excite, unite and engage the AUC student body. To help get you started, we will share access to a trove of multimedia equipment, including a GoPro, drone, 360 camera, professional camera, Adobe Creative Suite, and more.

If you have a passion for writing, design, filmmaking, photography, event planning, or general content development—or participate in social and community service activities—this is the perfect opportunity for you! SEA Ambassadors will each receive a stipend of $1,000 at the end of the semester as a token of our appreciation.

To apply, fill out this form by Friday, June 8 and send samples of your work to sea@aucmed.edu. The first cohort of SEA Ambassadors will be announced on Tuesday, June 12 and work will begin immediately.
