Abialbon Paul, MBBS, MD

Dr. Abialbon Paul completed his medical education, earning his MBBS and MD in Pharmacology from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), one of India's top medical schools.
He excelled academically, receiving multiple honors and four gold medals in Physiology, Cardiology, Neurology, and Preventive & Social Medicine. His passion for education became evident as he trained medical students for national intercollegiate medical quiz competitions, achieving first place three consecutive times.
After a brief tenure as a Clinical Pharmacologist with the Apollo Group of Hospitals in Southern India, where he supported medication use quality standards for hospital accreditations, Dr. Paul moved to the Caribbean in 2016 to teach medical students. He has thrived in this role, particularly enjoying student feedback on his innovative concept maps and question walkthroughs. As a module director for most of his teaching career, he has significantly contributed to curricular development and refinement.
Dr. Paul has served as an editor for a textbook on Clinical Pharmacology for postgraduate students and has contributed numerous book chapters. He has also published several research papers, often in collaboration with PhD students, providing expertise in statistical methods and medical writing. During the pandemic, he expanded his skill set by completing an M.Sc. in Computer Science, with a focus on coding and automation. He also earned a fully funded scholarship on AI and deep learning with PyTorch from Facebook.
His interests lie in statistics and data analysis, integrating his medical knowledge with advanced computational techniques.
