*The 3-year first-time residency attainment rate is the weighted average of the 2022-23, through 2024-25 academic years. For each year, the rate is the percent of students attaining a residency out of all graduates or expected graduates in the year who were active applicants in the NRMP match in that year or who attained a residency outside the NRMP match in that year. The 1-year first-time residency attainment rate is 95% for 2024-2025 graduates.

- Bridget Gardner
Bridget Gardner, PGCE, BSc (Hons), BA (Hons)
Bridget Gardner is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education at AUC School of Medicine’s UK Track in Preston. She earned her Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of the West of England and has a wealth of teaching experience. In 2020 she earned her Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Education and specialises in supporting medical students to develop successful study strategies. She supports the UK track students with academic remediation and is currently studying towards Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. Prior to joining the faculty at AUC Bridget was the Assessment Lead for the MBBS Programme at University of Lancashire Medical School, leading the delivery of high stakes clinical and written examinations. She also lectured in Psychology and supervised students doing evidence based research projects. Her educational background in the study of Psychology has led her to have a particular interest in the role of student wellbeing and mindset and to adapt a coaching approach to academic remediation.
