Charlotte   Rhodes PhD

Associate Professor, Anatomy


Charlotte Rhodes, PhD, joined AUC's Anatomy Department in January 2015. She currently serves as Anatomy Course Director, which allows her to fulfill her love of teaching as the Associate Professor of Anatomy. In addition to delivering gross antomy to first semester students, Dr. Rhodes oversees the Anatomy Teaching Assistant Program and was selected in 2018 to serve as the First Semester Lead. That role includes responsibility over the delivery and management of the entire first semester academic program.

Dr. Rhodes previously served on the faculty at the University of Manitoba College of Medicine's Medical Education Department. There, she developed and analyzed medical course programs and curricula, and conducted medical education research. 

Dr. Rhodes completed a PhD in developmental genetics at the University of Nottingham, UK after gaining her Bachelor of Science in anatomy and developmental biology at University College London. Her postdoctoral training was conducted at the University of Sheffield and University of Ottawa in the field of developmental biology.
