For each year, the rate is the percent of students attaining a residency out of all graduates or expected graduates in the year who were active applicants in the NRMP match in that year or who attained a residency outside the NRMP match in that year. For 2025-26, the first-time residency attainment rate is over 98%.

Lecturer in Clinical Skills
Claire McKenna is a Lecturer in Clinical Skills on AUC School of Medicine’s UK Track programme and is on the faculty of The University of Lancashire. Claire began her career as a High School Teacher and Lecturer in the UK and overseas, and later trained as an Adult Nurse, then worked in Orthopaedic Surgery and as a Community Developmental Nurse. Prior to joining AUC she was a Nurse Educator at the University of Lancashire. In the 4 years since joining AUC, Claire has taught communication skills, physical examination technique and interpretation, clinical simulation and Ethics across the 5 semesters. She is actively engaged in facilitating SGA Club events and extra-curricular activities in collaboration with Year 3 and 4 students on rotation.
