David Adelstein , DO

Dr. David Adelstein has 25 years in clinical practice as an Ob/Gyn. He was the physician/owner of Triad Ob/Gyn, a private practice located in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He also was the primary Physician for Travel Clinics of Wareham specializing in travel vaccines and diseases.
Dr. Adelstein completed his training at the Osteopathic school in Des Moines, Iowa, where he was a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi honors Fraternity. He completed a residency of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey, and during that time he served as the liaison to the Committee of interns and residents of the New Jersey Chapter. He also was Chief of Education and taught at multiple levels, including medical students and residents.
Dr. Adelstein authored and presented the Ortho-ACOOG resident thesis award on “The Utilization of therapeutic ultrasound as a predictor of preterm labor”. He currently holds licenses in Massachusetts and California.
Dr. Adelstein was granted the Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecologists in 2011. He has served on the Board of trustees for ACOG and has been the past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Osteopathic Society. Dr. Adelstein was privileged to be the President of Bristol South Division of Massachusetts Medical Society, and a delegate on the committee of legislation. He has also served as a trustee for the prestigious New England Medical Journal.
