Hazarie Ramoutar, FCCA
A native of Trinidad, Mr. Ramoutar has spent the past 15 years in operations and organizational management across the Caribbean, including as Director of the Student Experience at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) in St. Kitts.
Mr. Ramoutar has extensive experience in leading roles for organizations of more than 150 employees. During his nine years with RUSVM, Mr. Ramoutar held the positions of Director of the Student Experience and Campus Administrator. As the Director of the Student Experience he oversaw all matters relating to student life, including Student Services, Housing, Student Success Center, Financial Aid, Bursar, Counselling Services, Student Engagement & Professional Standards, and the Health Services departments. He initiated numerous programs and operations across RUSVM that cultivated strong relationships with the student body, administration and faculty, and the government of St. Kitts and Nevis. Under his operational leadership as Campus Administrator in 2011, RUSVM was the first Caribbean veterinary school to receive accreditation from the American Veterinary Medical Association.
As AUC's Senior Administrator for Campus Operations in Sint Maarten, Mr. Ramoutar works closely with local operational departments to build on AUC’s tradition of delivering an outstanding academic experience.
Prior to RUSVM, Mr. Ramoutar served as operations and general manager for Bryden and Partners in St. Lucia and group management accountant at S.L. Horsford & Co. LTD in St. Kitts. He received his bachelor’s degree in management from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and is in the process of completing his master’s in business administration from the University of Bradford. He is also a chartered accountant.
