J Sujit Ralin Daniel, MD

Dr. J. Sujit Ralin Daniel is a senior lecturer in medical pharmacology at AUC School of Medicine’s UK Track program. Dr. Ralin has a keen passion for teaching and has been teaching pharmacology and therapeutics to medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), nursing and other para-medical students for more than a decade. Having graduated in medicine from St. Petersburg State Medical Academy, Russian Federation, Dr. Ralin earned his post-graduation, Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) in pharmacology (2014) from the Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, India. After post-graduation, Dr. Ralin served as a faculty at the Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital, Karakonam, teaching pharmacology and therapeutics to medical, nursing and other para-medical students.
While serving Dr. SM CSI Medical College and Hospital, India, his services included leadership and membership of several academic and faculty committees including the Institutional Scientific Committee, Medical Education Unit, Curriculum Implementation Support Program and Pharmacovigilance Committee. He successfully completed the Revised Basic Course on Medical Education Technologies and the Sensitization Program on Attitude Ethics and Communication (AET-COM) at the Medical Council of India Nodal Center for Faculty Development, Govt Medical College, Kottayam, India.
Dr. Ralin was nominated by the Dr. SM CSI Medical College to represent the College and Hospital for the workshop on Initiation and Implementation of Antimicrobial Stewardship Program conducted by the globally reputed Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMC,2018), Vellore, India. Dr. Ralin has quite a few publications in international and national journals. He has also presented papers and posters in seminars and conferences, including the Golden Jubilee International Conference of Indian Pharmacological Society as well as that of the South Asian Chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology.
Dr. Ralin has organized conferences, workshops, besides being invited to deliver academic lectures in colleges. His areas of interest include teaching and learning, and research in the field of pharmacovigilance, antimicrobial stewardship and rational use of medicines. Hailing from a family of academics, Dr Ralin is committed to promoting academic excellence and quality among medical graduates.
