Susan Jamieson, BSc, PhD, PGCE, QTLS, FHEA
Dr. Susan Jamieson is currently acting as the academic lead for the PGDip in International Medical Sciences program and is the module lead for Physiology II. Dr. Jamieson has over 30 years' experience in higher education, including both teaching and management, as well as several years' research experience in cardiorespiratory physiology. Her most recent role prior to joining AUC’s UK Track team was as year one lead for MBBS at the University of Central Lancashire. Previous roles include deputy head of the Lancaster University International Study Centre, and director of studies for the School of Sport at the University of Cumbria.
Dr. Jamieson has a bachelor’s in science (honors) in physiology from the University of Leeds, and a doctoral degree in respiratory medicine from the University of Edinburgh. She also has a post graduate certification in education and a fellowship from HEA (online and distance learning) from the Open University.
