Each college, university, or medical business listed below has a separate agreement and varying requirements listed to assist students who are in attendance at, have graduated from, or working at one of these institutions in gaining admission to AUC.*
*Students will still need to go through the admissions process. Pathway partnership agreements create eligibility for students who meet all criteria.
Students who meet the criteria established through the American University in Dubai (AUD) and AUC Pathways Program will be eligible for certain benefits. A summary of eligibility requirements and benefits are provided below.
- Students must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree from AUD within five (5) years of applying to AUC, and have an overall minimum Grade Point Average of 2.8 GPA or higher on both cumulative and science.
- A Grade Point Average of 2.8 or higher in all courses designated by AUC as pre-requisites of admission:
- Biology: 1 year (8 credit hours), including laboratory
- General Chemistry: 1 year (8 credit hours), including laboratory.
- Organic Chemistry: 1 year (8 credit hours), including laboratory. Biochemistry can be used to substitute for organic chemistry.
- General Physics: 1 semester (4 credit hours), including laboratory. Statistics or Calculus can be substituted for Physics.
- MCAT waiver for non-US students. U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents are required to take the MCAT exam.
- English requirements: required for non-native English speakers, applicants who graduated from institutions in which the education was not delivered in English, or as requested by the Admissions Committee. One of two exams may be taken: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
- A minimum of one letter from an individual academic professor who taught applicant (science preferred, but not required), and one professional letter.
- Other minimum admission requirements as set forth by AUC.
- The applicant fee will be waived for eligible students.*
- Eligible applicants will be granted an AUC admissions interview.
- American University in Dubai Partner Scholarship: One-time $7,500 USD awarded for the first semester of enrollment at AUC.
- Students will be evaluated for academic scholarships at the time of admission.
- For UK Track students: Students will receive a one-time first semester housing credit of $2,000 USD to their student account.
- Sint Maarten campus students receive a one-time first semester on-campus housing grant up to $4,750 USD for a double occupancy unit.
- The International/Canadian Student Scholarship—$80,000 USD one-time award distributed across semesters 1 through 10—details updated on the AUC website at aucmed.edu/scholarships
