Student Engagement Award

The AUC Student Engagement Award recognizes students whose activities as part of the campus community have helped to enhance and foster the AUC culture of collaboration.

AUC is accepting scholarship applications for the fall 2018 term. Interested students should apply by February 10, 2019 (11:59pm EST). Scholarships will be awarded on February 22, 2019.

Award Amount

$5,000 one-time award towards tuition

Eligibility requirements

  • Complete the award application (see below)
  • Awarded during 3rd, 4th, or 5th semester of study
  • 2 letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to the breadth/depth and impact of service to the AUC community including leadership in extracurricular activities, participation in tutoring and related peer teaching activities, involvement in collaborative research projects, and active engagement in the well-being and enhancement of the University. 
  • Personal essay—Provide examples of your involvement with the campus community. How has your engagement with the campus community supported your development and your peers’ development as future physicians?
