WHAT GPA IS REQUIRED FOR MEDICAL SCHOOL?

Our Medical School Admissions Committee will look at an applicant’s prerequisite GPA and overall GPA. AUC's Medical School Admissions Committee considers many other factors, including intellectual and social maturity, critical judgment, adaptability, and life experience. We call this a holistic approach to admissions—a process that looks at an applicant as a whole person, not a GPA or an exam score.

BENEFITS OF STARTING IN MAY

• Expect smaller classes than traditional fall starts— offering even more individualized attention and more intimate class sizes, which fosters much closer relationships with your peers.

• More time to prepare for the United States Medical Licensing Examination® Step 2 CK and CS exams, as well as schedule electives

• Some clinical sites have summer intake dates, which may mean scheduling clinical rotations can be much quicker.
