Affiliated Hospitals

AUC students have the option of completing clinical rotations in the United States, England and Ireland. A profile of each affiliated hospital site is provided in this section of the Web site.

The profile for each American hospital includes the core rotations that are offered, and usually describes electives that are also available. Currently, AUC students rotating in the U.S. are able to complete all core rotations within one geographic area.

The hospitals in England and Ireland offer the opportunity for students to complete all of their core rotations in one location.

Fifth semester students will be interviewed by AUC’s core coordinator to determine clerkship site preferences and to confirm the student’s progress toward passing the USMLE Step 1. Students are reminded that AUC’s academic policy requires them to pass the USMLE Step 1 prior to beginning core rotations. This policy is detailed in the Student Handbook, which is distributed the first day of registration on the medical campus.
