Dave Remias and Monica Tran met at AUC in 2005. A decade later, they returned to campus and got engaged.

In honor of Black History Month, the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM) recognized Dr. Natacha Pierre and other change makers who are working to address disparities in breastfeeding for people of color.
From that moment forward, Siddiqua vowed to advocate for others in a similar situation. She set out to connect with marginalized patient groups and educate her community about disease prevention, nutrition, and healthcare options.
