Clinical Return Home Offer

AUC is committed to cultivating a diverse physician pipeline that starts within our communities. We encourage you to give back to the places and people who motivated your journey to become a physician.

AUC Clinical Return Home Hero

Clinical Rotations Close to Home

AUC is proud to provide opportunities for local aspiring physicians to attend medical school, nurture you through the basic sciences, and then help you return home for clinical training. We know that when this happens, you are more likely to choose a local residency and remain in your community to practice medicine.

You must complete a request for more information (RMI) form in addition to submitting your AUC application to indicate your interest in the Clinical Return Home Offer.

A waitlist will be established for applicants who wish to enroll in a term that has no remaining guaranteed clerkship seats; Existing students are ineligible for the waitlist. New seats will become available each term. If spots in their preferred start term are already filled, an applicant may also choose to defer to a later start that has open seats.
