AUC is accredited by the Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine (ACCM, www.accredmed.org), which is the accreditor used by the country of Sint Maarten.

Eligible to apply to practice in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and around the world.
Location
AUCs has two locations across the world to facilitate both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens medical education. Non-U.S. based citizens can choose either the U.K. track or Sint Maarten campus. U.S. citizens study at Sint Maarten for years 1 and 2.
U.K. Location
Study in Preston, U.K. with the U.K. Track (for years 1 and 2)
International students can choose between the U.K. MD program site or Sint Maarten campus. AUC partners with UCLan to offer classes in Preston.
Hospital Affiliates
All AUC medical students, regardless of which program they choose have the option of completing clinical rotations at affiliated hospital teaching sites in the United States and United Kingdom.

Choose from 17 affiliates in Michigan, Louisiana, New York, Florida, California, Illinois, Maryland, and Connecticut in the United States.
7 U.K. Hospital Affiliates
Choose from 7 affiliates in London, Greater Manchester, Berkshire, Surrey, and West Sussex in the United Kingdom.
Residency Placements
Preparing our students to attain a medical school residency placement is one of AUC’s highest priorities. Each year, AUC graduates apply for and obtain residencies in a variety of postgraduate training programs throughout the world.
*Percent of students attaining a 2024-25 residency position out of all graduates or expected graduates in 2023-24 who were active applicants in the 2024 NRMP match or who attained a residency position outside the NRMP match
International Scholarships*
$80,000 USD scholarships are awarded to applicants who are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
Dual citizens are not eligible. *Available to those who apply and qualify.
Admissions Requirements
Our MD program is open to qualified candidates who have completed undergraduate requirements for medical school. They must possess a first degree, minimum Bachelor’s or equivalent, in any discipline (science-focused study preferable but not mandatory), from an accredited university.
Tuition
We believe that education should be within reach for every aspiring doctor. Our comprehensive tuition and financial aid program will help you understand the cost of your medical education and how you can finance it.
AUC offers the opportunity for eligible students with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Degree to apply for transfer admission with advanced standing to the Medical Doctor (MD) Degree Program from an accredited university. Students accepted for transfer admission with advanced standing must complete at least two years of medical education at AUC.
