AUC is pleased to share several exciting updates regarding our upcoming Disaster Medicine conference, including: approval for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit, deadline extension for Early Bird registration and abstract submission, a special discounted rate for students, residents, and fellows, and an updated program book.
Here’s what you need to know:
CME Credit Approval
Our International Conference on Disaster Medicine and Hurricane Resiliency, taking place March 8-11, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 16.00 prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Early Bird Registration Deadline Extended, Special Student Rate
Our $650 Early Bird registration rate deadline has been extended through Thursday, January 31. Ticket prices will increase to $750 after that date.
We’re also pleased to offer a special rate of just $250 for medical students (non-AUC), veterinary students, residents, and fellows. Use promo code RESIDENT to take advantage of the discounted rate.
Registration for all interested attendees should be completed online via our Eventbrite form.
