*The 3-year first-time residency attainment rate is the weighted average of the 2022-23, through 2024-25 academic years. For each year, the rate is the percent of students attaining a residency out of all graduates or expected graduates in the year who were active applicants in the NRMP match in that year or who attained a residency outside the NRMP match in that year. The 1-year first-time residency attainment rate is 95% for 2024-2025 graduates.

Gargi Soni, MD
Gargi Soni, MD, is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in Gross Anatomy at AUC School of Medicine's UK Track program. Dr. Soni is on faculty at the University of Lancashire) in Preston UK, where the program is delivered.
Dr. Soni has more than 12 years of experience in medical education. She earned her MD in Medicine from Kazakh National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan and her postgraduate MD in Anatomy from Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, India. After graduating, Dr. Soni held faculty positions at Maharshi Dayanand teaching anatomy, histology, embryology, and neuroanatomy to undergraduate and graduate students in the medical and physiotherapy programs. Prior to joining University of Lancashire, she was a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Anatomy Unit at Management and Science University in Shah Alam, Malaysia, where she spent six years.
Dr. Soni is passionate about teaching anatomy and continuously seeks out opportunities to create a positive learning environment while using new technologies to aid in learning. She has been published in multiple national and international journals and has supervised student research. Dr. Soni is a member of the Anatomical Society of India and the Malaysian Anatomical Association.
