*The 3-year first-time residency attainment rate is the weighted average of the 2022-23, through 2024-25 academic years. For each year, the rate is the percent of students attaining a residency out of all graduates or expected graduates in the year who were active applicants in the NRMP match in that year or who attained a residency outside the NRMP match in that year. The 1-year first-time residency attainment rate is 95% for 2024-2025 graduates.

- Gargi Soni
Gargi Soni, MD, FHEA
Gargi Soni, is a Professor and Senior Lecturer in Gross Anatomy at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine’s UK Track program in Preston, United Kingdom. Dr Soni has more than 20 years of experience in medical education. She earned her MD in Anatomy from Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, India. She previously held academic appointments at Maharshi Dayanand University, where she taught anatomy, histology, embryology, and neuroanatomy to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Prior to joining AUC, Dr Soni was Senior Lecturer and Head of the Anatomy Unit at Management and Science University in Shah Alam, Malaysia. Dr Soni’s academic interests include clinical anatomy, anatomical variation, and anatomy education. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and has been involved in student research supervision. She is a member of the Anatomical Society of India and the British Association of Clinical Anatomists.
