Gargi Soni, MD

Gargi Soni, MD, is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in Gross Anatomy at AUC School of Medicine's UK Track program. Dr. Soni is on faculty at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Preston UK, where the program is delivered.

Dr. Soni has more than 12 years of experience in medical education. She earned her MD in Medicine from Kazakh National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan and her postgraduate MD in Anatomy from Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, India. After graduating, Dr. Soni held faculty positions at Maharshi Dayanand teaching anatomy, histology, embryology, and neuroanatomy to undergraduate and graduate students in the medical and physiotherapy programs. Prior to joining UCLan, she was a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Anatomy Unit at Management and Science University in Shah Alam, Malaysia, where she spent six years.

Dr. Soni is passionate about teaching anatomy and continuously seeks out opportunities to create a positive learning environment while using new technologies to aid in learning. She has been published in multiple national and international journals and has supervised student research. Dr. Soni is a member of the Anatomical Society of India and the Malaysian Anatomical Association.
