Black Medical Student Association unites future Black physicians
AUC student Roneisha Williams shares upcoming activities and initiatives planned by the Black Medical Student Association (BMSA) and discusses her own journey to medical school.

On National Women Physicians Day, we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to receive a medical degree in the United States in 1849 and an advocate for women in medicine.
This Class of 2011 grad sees the gender gap narrowing in her field and hopes to encourage even more female medical students to pursue plastic surgery.
