Dr Marcin Kwiatkowski graduated from Medical University of Warsaw in 1996 (M.D. degree- 6 years program). He completed 5 years of training in internal medicine at the Department of Internal Medicine and Diabetology at the Brodnowski Teaching Hospital in Warsaw. In 2004 he was invited to join the American University of the Caribbean, School of Medicine as the Assistant Professor of Introduction to Clinical Medicine. In 2007 - 2008 he successfully passed the USMLE step 1, 2CK and 2CS and was awarded the ECFMG certificate.
He served the AUC students as the Assistant and Associate Professor of Introduction to Clinical Medicine and Behavioral Science until August 2010. In 2011, he entered the residency training program in Radiology at the Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the Children’s’ Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw and at the Miedzyleski Teaching Hospital in Warsaw.
In 2016 he has received 12 months of residency training at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospitals in Drogheda and Navan in Republic of Ireland in affiliation with the Faculty of Radiologists at the Royal College of Radiologists in Ireland. After he completed the residency training and successfully passed the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) board exam, as the Consultant Radiologist, he has been engaged in several research projects awarded by publications in Journal of Pediatric Orthopedic. In 2021 he was invited to join the Clinical Medical Science Department at AUC as a full-time faculty. He developed the Radiology content for the Organ System based curriculum. He shares his knowledge and expertise as the Director of Harvey and Ultrasound Labs and CLR module Co-director.
