Teri Boese, DNP, RN, CHSE, CHSOS
Dr. Boese began her academic career at the University of Iowa College of Nursing where her medical surgical nursing competence transformed into healthcare simulation as an expert in the use of simulation-based education. Earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from the University of Iowa. A master’s degree in nursing (MSN) from the University of Minnesota and a doctoral in nursing practice degree (DNP) with a focus in Systems Leadership from Rush University.
Dr. Boese was an instrumental member of the team that founded the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) organization and serves as the founding co-president of this body. Dr. Boese has been with AUC since 2015 as the Simulations Operations Manager and added responsibilities as the course director of the Introduction to Clinical Medicine (ICM) 1 course in 2018.
