For each year, the rate is the percent of students attaining a residency out of all graduates or expected graduates in the year who were active applicants in the NRMP match in that year or who attained a residency outside the NRMP match in that year. The 1-year first-time residency attainment rate is 95% for 2024-2025 graduates.

AUC is pleased to welcome Mrs. Aruna Ullal to our Sint Maarten Academic Support Team as Academic Support Counselor. She will begin her new position on Monday, February 18, 2019 and will be stationed in Building 2, Office 127.
Mrs. Ullal brings a wealth of experience in academic counseling. She recently worked as the Medical Board Review Coordinator at Medical University of the Americas, Nevis (MUA), where she assisted medical students with preparation for diagnostic tests, including NBME comprehensive exams and the USMLE Step 1 exam. While at MUA, she facilitated several workshops on academic planning and time management for students at various levels to accomplish their scholastic goals.
Previously in her career, Mrs. Aruna Ullal was a Case Manager and Educational Facilitator at The Salvation Army Lawson Ministries Autism Centre in Hamilton, Canada, where she was responsible for developing and implementing individualized curricula for young adults with learning difficulties. She also led the employee wellness committee at the same organization. Her passion to serve others is reflected in the many organizations where she has volunteered, including Women without Borders and St. Martin’s Manor in Hamilton, Canada, where she helped new immigrant and refugee women settle down in a new country.
Mrs. Ullal earned her Master’s in Education (MEd), specializing in educational psychology and management, and her Master’s in English (MA) from Bangalore University in India. She is licensed with the Ontario College of Teachers in Canada.
