*The 3-year first-time residency attainment rate is the weighted average of the 2022-23, through 2024-25 academic years. For each year, the rate is the percent of students attaining a residency out of all graduates or expected graduates in the year who were active applicants in the NRMP match in that year or who attained a residency outside the NRMP match in that year. The 1-year first-time residency attainment rate is 95% for 2024-2025 graduates.

Medical School Entry in the U.K.
AUC has partnered with universities in the United Kingdom where UK and other international students* seeking their MD can begin their medical training as an undergraduate student at either the University of Lancashire or the University of Wolverhampton then progress into AUC’s graduate MD program at our UK program location in Preston through a special partnership at the University of Lancashire. Clinical rotations may be completed in both the UK and US.
*The 6-year BSc to MD pathway is not open to U.S. residents
The MD degree program at the University of Lancashire site is only available to eligible Non-U.S. Citizens/Permanent Residents.

For Non-U.S. Students
Non-U.S. based citizens interested in the 6-year MD pathway will begin their education at either the University of Wolverhampton in Wolverhampton, UK or at the Burnley campus of University of Lancashire in Burnley, UK and will continue their MD education at our U.K. Track location at the University of Lancashire in Preston, UK.
University of Lancashire
Taught at the Burnley campus, the accelerated BSc (Hons) Medical Sciences program is a two-year entry pathway to AUC’s U.K. Track MD program on the Preston campus of the University of Lancashire.

University of Wolverhampton
The BSc (Hons) Medical Sciences degree at the University of Wolverhampton is built on a commitment to high-quality teaching underpinned by research and a strong emphasis on applying scientific knowledge to clinical practice.
