The 1-year first-time residency attainment rate is 95% for 2024-2025 graduates.

6-year Pathway Overview
AUC’s 6-year pathway provides an opportunity for non-U.S. citizens without an undergraduate degree to earn a Doctor of Medicine degree through accelerated study in the United Kingdom.
PATHWAY ENTRY
Medical School Entry in the U.K.
AUC has partnered with universities in the United Kingdom where UK and other international students* seeking their MD can begin their medical training as an undergraduate student at either the University of Lancashire or the University of Wolverhampton then progress into AUC’s graduate MD program at our UK program location in Preston through a special partnership at the University of Lancashire. Clinical rotations may be completed in both the UK and US.
*The 6-year BSc to MD pathway is not open to U.S. residents
The MD degree program at the University of Lancashire site is only available to eligible Non-U.S. Citizens/Permanent Residents.

Non-U.S. based citizens interested in the 6-year MD pathway will begin their education at either the University of Wolverhampton in Wolverhampton, UK or at the Burnley campus of University of Lancashire in Burnley, UK and will continue their MD education at our U.K. Track location at the University of Lancashire in Preston, UK.
University of Lancashire
Taught at the Burnley campus, the accelerated BSc (Hons) Medical Sciences program is a two-year entry pathway to AUC’s U.K. Track MD program on the Preston campus of the University of Lancashire.

University of Wolverhampton
The BSc (Hons) Medical Sciences degree at the University of Wolverhampton is built on a commitment to high-quality teaching underpinned by research and a strong emphasis on applying scientific knowledge to clinical practice. Study in the state-of-the-art Rosalind Franklin Laboratory Building, and clinical skills suites.
