Student Research Opportunities

AUC students have additional opportunities to continue honing their skills while experiencing live patient interactions in real life scenarios with student research projects.

Faculty Supervised Research

Findings from these research projects are then developed and presented in international symposiums, giving additional visibility to the quality of education and experiences AUC students are provided.

21 Research Programs

Students have the ability to participate in over 21 research programs (listed on the student portal) and may be included as contributors to publications which can definitely make an impact in residency applications and interviews.

Medical Interest Groups

In addition to these opportunities, students participate in medical interest groups that give students opportunities to lean into specialties and hear from alumni in those specialty areas, participate in various workshops, etc.

Project H.E.L.P.

Students can participate in Project H.E.L.P. (Health, Education, Literacy and Prevention) which conducts health screenings such as breast abnormalities, prostate cancer, pediatric dental, skin cancer, and community-based participatory research projects occur through various community engagement projects.

“The quality of presentations and the stimulating discussions that followed were truly inspiring, and it was wonderful to witness the enthusiasm and passion of our students as they engaged with their peers.
