Chris Elsayad, MD, MBA, FACP
Chris Elsayad, MD, MBA, FACP is the Division Chief of Primary Care at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. He also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Elsayad completed his Internal Medicine residency at Nassau University Medical Center and was in private practice for 10 years. After which, he shifted to academic medicine and holds faculty appointments at AUC, NYCOM and Stony Brook Medical schools as well as being the Clerkship Director for Medicine.
He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is credentialed with Fellowship of the American College of Physicians. He is also fluent in four languages including Spanish, French and Arabic. Currently, he is learning Russian as his fifth language.
Dr. Elsayad is active in the New York chapter of the American College of Physicians. He is a past Chair of the Early Career Physicians, judged many poster competitions and currently serves as Chair of the Education committee.
He obtained an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, to learn the intricacies of finance and share the knowledge with other physicians.
Dr. Elsayad is a champion for patient care in addition to being educator and mentor for the next generation of medical students and Resident physicians.
