Andy Ginty, PhD
Dr. Andy Ginty is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs for AUC's UK-Track program. He is based out of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Preston, UK, where the UK Track is delivered.
Dr. Ginty has more than 25 years’ teaching experience—12 of those teaching human anatomy with UCLan, including the setting up of the UCLan Dental School BDS programme in 2007. He previously served as Phase 1 Lead for Medicine for UCLan's 5-year MBBS programme and led the development of the first two years of the medical course. Prior to UCLan, he worked at the University of Cumbria, University of Manchester and Liverpool Hope University. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Anatomy and Human Biology at the University of Liverpool, his Postgraduate Certificate in Secondary Education at The Open University, Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education at The University of Manchester and his Doctor of Philosophy in Bone Cell Biology from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Liverpool.
